‘Trailer Park’ extends its run
They’re having so much fun at The Muse Theatre that they’ve decided to extend the run of the “Great American Trailer Park Musical.” The show, which played throughout June, also will be performed on the following dates: July 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25, 31 and Aug. 1. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. “Audiences have responded enthusiastically to the show through word-of-mouth, sold-out performances, standing ovations and return visits with guests to share this funny, uplifting show,” said director/actress Vicki Elwood. “‘The Great American Trailer Park Musical’” features country-rock, soulful ballads, uplifting gospel and even a disco dance number. The cast is exceptional and features strong vocal talent, endearing characters and laugh-out-loud humor,” Elwood said. Elwood said this is especially wonderful for her because all of her 30 years of work in the theater have been building toward owning her own theater company. “My goals are high and will continue to be achieved in each and every production at The Muse.” Tickets are $22, $20 for senior citizens and $10 for student rush at the door. Tickets go on sale one hour before the performance at the box office of The Muse, 1353 Avon St. Tickets also are available at Festival Foods and Salon Medusa.
