State Trail Passes...
Bicyclists, aged 16 and older, are required to carry trail
passes on state trails April 1st through the end of the season.
The state bike trails open May 1. Passes are not required for hikers. The annual passes are
honored at all Wisconsin state trails. The daily pass is
only honored on the day it is marked. Wisconsin Senior Citizen
Recreation Cards are honored on state trails.
Daily Fee: $4.00
Annual Fee: $20.00*
*annual passes good through end of year
Trail passes are sold by various businesses along the trail.
A list of these businesses is posted at the trail in each
community. Please patronize these businesses and purchase
a trail pass before riding the trail. The passes must be
carried with the bicyclist when riding on the trail. It is
best if the passes are visible at the front of the bike.
The annual pass is tied to the handle bar and can be removed
when not riding on the trail. The daily pass is designed
to be attached around a brake cable or handle bar.
The State Bike Trails will be open May 1st. Please browse
through this brochure for Hotels, Motels, Bed & Breakfasts,
Campgrounds and all your favorite Food & Beverages. We
invite young & old. It will be an experience you will
never forget. See you on the trail!
